Third Party SIP Server integration
The XT Series supports Media Encryption using SRTP via in-SDP (SDES) with the following
algorithms:
• AES_256_CM_HMAC_SHA1_80
• AES_CM_128_HMAC_SHA1_80
The XT Series supports best-effort and strict encryption.
The XT Series supports the following audio codecs: G.722.1 Annex C (siren 14), G.722.1 (siren
7), OPUS, G722, G711, G729.
The XT Series supports the following video codecs: H.264 HP, H.264 BL.
The XT Series supports the following DTMF types: RFC4733, RFC2833.
Limitations
The XT Series does not support the following audio codecs: AAC-LD, AAC-LC, G719.
The XT Series does not support the following video codecs: H265, H265 SVC, H264 High Profile
SVC, H264 Baseline Profile SVC .
The XT Series does not support the following protocols: BFCP for Content Video Sharing and Far
End Camera Control.
Moreover, Asterisk has some limitations related its SDP negotiation module. For this reason:
• Avaya has disabled the 60fps video feature to avoid issues when connecting to systems that
do not support it.
• The call rate is not correctly negotiated for audio/video calls. Avaya recommends that you
limit the system to the correct maximum call rate.
• Do not make an audio/video call to an audio only device.
In addition, the XT Series does not support options such as RTCP MUX, AVPF, ICE.
Advanced SIP Features
Advanced features, such as Do Not Disturb, Hold/Resume, Call Forward, Call Pick Up, Call
Transfer, Call Park/Unpark, Automatic Redial/Callback are supported using the Asterisk Feature
Codes. The Feature Codes during an active call are sent using DTMF. As a result, you should
disable direct media.
The XT Series does not support other advanced features.
