Third Party SIP Server integration
• If the used SIP extension has both the signaling and the RTP media passing through
FreeSwitch (no proxy_media, no bypass_media and no bypass_media_after_bridge options
are set), 60fps video feature (due to a FreeSwitch issue) is automatically disabled to avoid
issues when connecting to systems that do not support it.
• When the early media feature is active, XT Series can report TX packet loss in the first phase
of the call. This issue occurs because FreeSwitch discards the received RTP packets before
the remote device answers the call and reports it into the RTCP packets sent to the XT
Series.
• The XT Series does not support RTCP MUX, AVPF, ICE options.
Advanced SIP Features
Advanced features, such as Do Not Disturb, Hold/Resume, Call Forward, Call Pick Up, Call
Transfer, Call Park/Unpark, Automatic Redial/Callback are supported using the FreeSwitch
Feature Codes. The Feature Codes during an active call are sent using DTMF. As a result, you
should disable direct media.
Other advanced features are not supported by the XT Series, such as Auto-Provisioning, Call
Waiting, Message Waiting Indicator, Busy Lamp Field Configuration, Feature Key Synchronization
Configuration, Emergency call configuration, User Service configuration, Directory Configuration,
Call Logs Configuration.
