1) Use the key to activate the remote control.
→ The start-up screen appears and shows the battery charge level of the remote control as
well as the date and time (see fig. 1).
2) Press the
key to start a prosthesis search (see fig. 2).
INFORMATION: The remote control automatically switches off after 5 seconds if no
other keys are pressed.
→ The serial number of the prosthesis that was found appears in the display (see fig. 3).
→ If names of prostheses appear in the display, this means there are prostheses already
saved in the remote control. Continue with the steps described in the section "Managing
prostheses" (see Page 68), sub-section "Adding a new connection (prosthesis) (menu
option 'PAIRING')".
3) Compare the serial number that is displayed to the serial number of the prosthesis you want
to connect to.
INFORMATION: The serial number is located on the inside of the frame and begins
with the letters "SN".
If the serial number 000000000 is displayed (multiple prostheses within the range), use the ,
,
,
keys to enter the serial number of the prosthesis you want to connect to.
4) Confirm with the key.
→ Once the connection has been established, the data are read from the prosthesis (see
fig. 4). This process may take a few minutes.
→ The main menu is then displayed on the remote control and includes the name of the con
nected prosthesis, the battery charge level of the remote control, the charge level of the
prosthesis and the mode that is currently set (1 = basic mode).
INFORMATION: The name of the prosthesis can only be entered or changed using
the adjustment software.
INFORMATION
After the initial connection to the prosthesis has been established successfully, the remote con
trol will connect automatically each time it is turned on ( key followed by
steps are required.
7.4 Querying the prosthesis status
INFORMATION
This function is not available while the battery of the prosthesis is being charged. The
appears in front of the "STATUS" menu option.
