7.2.3.5 Groin strap

INFORMATION
For further information, please see the instructions for use included with the product.
The seating unit can be equipped with a groin strap that secures the pelvis in the seat for certain indications (see
fig. 56).
Adjusting the groin strap
The tension of the belt can be adjusted as follows:
By adjusting the strap length at the two clip buckles at the back of the seat (see fig. 57, item 1).
By adjusting the strap length at the two buckles on the thigh straps (see fig. 58, item 1).
Putting the groin strap on
1) If needed: Open the clip buckles at the back of the seat (see fig. 57, item 1) and pull the thigh straps slightly
forward.
2) Open the two clips (see fig. 58, item 1) on the thigh straps.
3) Sit the user down on the groin strap then pass the thigh straps between the legs and outwards over the thighs
(see fig. 56).
4) Close the two clips on the thigh straps (see fig. 58, item 1).
5) If needed: Tighten the straps in the clip buckles at the back of the seat (see fig. 57, item 1) and fasten them.
6) The length of the thigh straps can be adjusted if necessary by pulling on the free ends of the two straps (see
fig. 58, item 2) in the belt buckles.
