7.2.16 Foam wedges for individual seating positions

The foam wedges can be used for individual fine adjustment of the seat surface according to the specifications of
the therapist.
The option was selected by the qualified personnel and attached to the seat surface and itself.
The foam wedges can be pulled off the hook-and-loop strips for cleaning.

INFORMATION
The product can be equipped with the Kimba Neo seating unit or alternative seating systems. In this case, please
observe the information in the separate instructions for use for the seating system.
The seating unit can be detached from the mobility base (see Page 12) for transporting.
Unfolding and folding the mobility base is explained in the instructions for use for the Kimba outdoor mobility bases
(reference number 647H891).

7.3.1 Transporting the seating unit assembled on the mobility base

INFORMATION
When unfolding or folding the mobility base, press the lateral supports gently inwards (see fig. 94; see fig. 95).
This prevents the push bar from rubbing against the upholstery and damaging it.
To fold the mobility base with attached seating unit, the folding mechanism has to be unlocked. Unfolding and fold­
ing the mobility base is explained in the instructions for use for the Kimba outdoor mobility bases (reference num­
ber 647H891).
