7.2.4 Padding

Information on taking off and putting on the padding and covers is provided in the section "Care": see Page 45.

7.2.5 Grab rail

CAUTION

User tipping over or falling due to lifting by removable components
► The grab rail must not be used to lift the product.
INFORMATION
Note that only one of the following options may be used at one time as they all attach to the same adapter on the
seat:
- Grab rail
- Arm supports, standard
- Tray
For certain indications, the seating unit can be equipped with a grab rail that prevents the user from falling for­
wards out of the seat.
The grab rail can be removed to make getting into the product easier.
Removing the grab rail
1) Press the releases (see fig. 64, item 1).
2) Pull the grab rail up and out (see fig. 64, item 2).
Attaching the grab rail
1) Insert the grab rail into the guides.
2) Press in the first tripod spring and push the grab rail down slightly. Then repeat this process on the opposite
side of the grab rail (see fig. 63).
3) Press the grab rail down until the springs engage behind the releases (see fig. 64, item 2).
