7.2.6 Armrests

CAUTION

Improper lifting by attendants

User tipping over or falling due to lifting by removable components

► The arm supports must not be used to lift the product.

INFORMATION

Note that only one of the following options may be used at one time as they all attach to the same adapter on the

seat:

- Grab rail

- Arm supports, standard

- Tray

For certain indications, the seating unit can be equipped with arm supports on which the arms can be rested.

Detaching and attaching the standard arm supports

The standard arm supports (see fig. 65) are attached and detached in the same way as the grab rail (see Page 32).

Adjusting the adjustable arm supports

a) Adjusting the height

1) Lift the padding underneath the arm support to the side (see fig. 66, item 1).

2) Loosen the mounting screws (see fig. 66, item 2).

3) Adjust the height of the arm support (see fig. 66, item 3).

4) Tighten the mounting screws (see fig. 66, item 2).

b) Adjusting the depth

1) Remove the arm support pad.

2) Loosen the wing nuts (see fig. 67, item 1).

3) Adjust the arm support horizontally (see fig. 67, item 2).

4) Tighten the wing nuts and attach the arm support pad.
