6.8.3 Amputation leg support

Installing the leg support
For removing and attaching the leg supports, see the instructions for use (user).
Adjusting the angle of the leg support
See the instructions for use (user).
Adjusting the pads
1) Pad angle: Loosen the three Allen head screws and turn the posterior lower leg support to the desired angle
(see fig. 44). Firmly re-tighten the Allen head screws.
2) Pad height: Loosen the Allen head screws on the clamp bracket and adjust the height (see fig. 45). Firmly re-
tighten the Allen head screws.

6.8.4 Calf strap

See the instructions for use (user) for attaching and removing the calf strap.

6.8.5 Heel strap

1) Remove the leg support.
2) Drill a 4 mm diameter hole in the intended position (see fig. 46, item 1).
3) Slide the heel strap onto the foot stirrup:
→ To do so, loosen the Allen head screw on the foot plate (see fig. 47, item 1) and remove the foot plate.
→ Slide the heel strap onto the foot stirrup and reinstall the foot plate. Tighten the Allen head screw to 4 Nm.
4) Install the heel strap holder. To do so, insert the Phillips head screw through the bore and screw the heel strap
holder to the foot plate. Firmly tighten the Phillips head screw (see fig. 46, item 1).

6.9 Installing and adjusting the side panels

Replacing the side panels with tripod spring
1) Fold back the side panel.
2) Press in the pushbutton (see fig. 48) and take the side panel out of the holder.
3) Insert the side panel in the adapter.
