2) If using thoracic pads: Guide the thoracic pads through the slots at the side of the back support pad.
3) Close the twist lock (see fig. 100).

7.5.1.5.1 Detaching and attaching the covers of the pads and pommel

INFORMATION
The manufacturer offers covers for the following components:
► Head support pads (see fig. 102, item 1)
► Lateral support pads (see fig. 102, item 2)
► Thoracic supports (see fig. 44)
► Grab rail (see fig. 102, item 3; replacement see Page 48)
► Hip supports (see fig. 102, item 4)
► Pommel (see fig. 102, item 5)
Detaching the cover
1) Remove the pads if necessary (see Page 46).
2) Undo the hook-and-loop closure on the cover.
3) Remove the cover from the pad or pommel.
Attaching the cover
1) Covers with foam reinforcement on one side: Guide the cover over the pad so the foam-reinforced side of
the cover (see fig. 103, item 1) is on the outside of the pad where the screw heads are located.
2) Pull the end of the cover without a tab (see fig. 104, item 1) over the pad first.
3) Pull the cover with the tab over the pad (see fig. 104, item 2).
4) Fold the tab in and fasten the hook-and-loop closure (see fig. 105).
5) Attach the pads (see Page 46).
