Use
a) Adjusting the knee angle of the following leg support:
Segmented, elevating with ratchet joint (aluminium)
1) Open the eccentric lever on the leg support (see fig. 39, item 1).
2) Grip the foot plate bar and swivel it to the desired angle (see fig. 39, item 2).
3) Close the eccentric lever on the leg support.
→ The leg support is fixed in the set position.
b) Adjusting the knee angle of the following leg support:
With single-panel foot plate for seating shell interface (steel)
1) Release the clamping levers on the right/left sides of the leg support (see fig. 40, item 1).
2) Set the desired knee angle (see fig. 40, item 2).
3) Firmly tighten the clamping levers on the right/left sides of the leg support.
→ The leg support is fixed in the set position.

7.6.5 Removing and fastening the calf strap

The calf strap offers additional support for the user's legs. It also prevents the feet from sliding off the foot plate
into the danger area. The calf strap can be removed for cleaning.
Removing the calf strap
1) Open all hook-and-loop closures on the calf strap.
2) Remove the calf strap from the holder or the foot plate bar (see fig. 35, item 1).
Fastening the calf strap
1) Open all hook-and-loop closures on the calf strap.
2) Pass the calf strap around the leg support holder and fasten the hook-and-loop (see fig. 35, item 1).
INFORMATION: If there is no holder for a calf strap on the leg supports, pass the calf strap around the
foot plate bar and fasten it with hook-and-loop.
3) Adjust the length and fasten the hook-and-loop closure.

7.7 Push handles/push bar

The product can be equipped with one of the following push handle types:
Push handles, long (see fig. 41)
Adjustable push bar with ratchet joint (see fig. 42)

7.7.1 Adjusting the push handles

The height of the push handles can be adjusted in order to make pushing easier for the attendant:
1) Release the clamping levers on the right/left sides of the back support tubes (see fig. 41, item 1).
2) Adjust the height of the push handles.
INFORMATION: The maximum adjustment range is 150 mm.
3) Firmly tighten the clamping levers on the right/left sides of the back support tubes (see fig. 41, item 1).
INFORMATION: Adjust both push handles to the same height.
