Use
Attaching the footrests
1) Hold the footrest outwards at an angle of 90° to the side and insert it into the footrest adapter (see fig. 10).
2) Swing the footrest in the direction of travel until the footrest engages (see fig. 11).
3) Flip down the footplate.
Removing the footrests
1) Flip up the footplate.
2) Pull the footrest lever back (see fig. 12).
3) Flip the footrest out by 90° and remove it from the footrest adapter (see fig. 13; see fig. 10).

6.4.2 Fastening/removing the calf strap

The calf strap offers additional support to the user's legs. It can be removed for cleaning.
Fastening the calf strap
1) Open all hook-and-loop closures.
2) Thread the calf strap through the eyelet on the footplate (see fig. 14).
3) Thread the other end through the footrest (see fig. 15).
4) Adjust the length and fasten the hook-and-loop closure (see fig. 16).
Removing the calf strap
1) Open all hook-and-loop closures.
2) Remove the calf strap from the frame tube.
