→ Installation for short lower leg lengths: Hold the edge of the leg support and fold it down (see fig. 23).
→ Standard installation: Hold the edge of the leg support and fold it upwards (see the "Leg support, stand­
ard" section).
3) Return the leg support to its original position by folding it up or down. The leg support locks into place auto­
matically.

7.2 Additional options

7.2.1 Headrests

CAUTION
Incorrect head support adjustment
Damage to health due to incorrect head position of the user
► Mounting kits and head supports may only be mounted and adjusted by qualified personnel.
► Have the setting of the head support and the tightness of the screw connections checked at regular intervals.
Further information is found in the section "Maintenance" (see Page 49).
► If the setting of the head support changes during daily use, have it readjusted again immediately by qualified
personnel.
The seating unit can be equipped with head supports that provide additional support for the head for certain indic­
ations.

7.2.1.1 Head support pads, adjustable laterally

The horizontal slots in the head support pad adapters (see fig. 24) allow the width of the head area to be adjusted.
The option has been preset by qualified personnel.

7.2.1.2 Integrated head support with slight lateral support

The width of the head area can be reduced by inserting foam pads (see fig. 26, item 1) into the head support's
side pads (see fig. 25). Three pads, each 10 mm thick, can be inserted on each side. In total, the width can be
reduced by 60 mm (30 mm each side). The option has been preset by qualified personnel.
