Use
The option has been installed and preset by qualified personnel. If the option has been adjusted too tightly or can­
not be engaged, the positioning belt can be subsequently adjusted as needed.
The seating unit can be equipped with positioning systems.

7.2.3.1 Thoracic supports

The seating unit can be equipped with thoracic pads that provide additional support to the upper body for certain
indications (standard thoracic pad: see fig. 44; folding thoracic pad: see fig. 45).
The option has been preset by qualified personnel.
Folding the thoracic pads (folding thoracic support version only)
These pads can be folded outwards to make getting in and out of the wheelchair easier:
1) Push the red release button (see fig. 45).
INFORMATION: Depending on the installation, the red release button may point either downwards or
upwards.
2) Push the pad outwards.
3) After getting in or out, move the pad back until it engages.

7.2.3.2 Abductor

The seating unit can be equipped with an abductor (see fig. 46) that ensures that the legs are abducted (spread to
the sides) from the centre of the body for certain indications.
The option has been preset by qualified personnel.
