7.1.4.1 Using the back support angle limiters

INFORMATION
This function is offered only in selected regions. The back support angle limiters are included in the base version
in France and Canada.
Back support angle limiters restrict the back support angle to a range of 80°–130°.
If the back support angle needs to be adjusted backwards with the seat tilt at its maximum (40°), the back support
angle limiters can be used. The back support can then be angled backwards to a maximum of just 170° (see
fig. 17).
1) Press the back support angle limiters onto the left and right back support tubes in the position shown (see
fig. 18).
2) Adjust the seat to the desired angle. For information on adjusting the seat tilt see Page 13.
3) Adjust the back support to the desired position (see fig. 19, item 1).

7.1.5 Adjusting the leg support

CAUTION
Getting into the seating unit incorrectly with the leg support folded down
User falling, tipping due to user error
► Fold the leg support up before getting into the seating unit.
CAUTION
Lifting by removable components
User tipping over, falling due to lifting by removable components
► The product may be lifted only by firmly welded or permanently attached components. It is particularly danger­
ous to lift the product by the leg support, push handle/push bar, lap bar or arm supports.
