6.7 Adjusting the leg supports
6.7.1 Adjusting the lower leg length
The required leg support height depends on the lower leg length of the user and the thickness of the seat cushion.
Adjusting the leg support height on the Avantgarde Teen 2 T
1) Loosen the Allen head screw on the front frame (see fig. 20).
2) Adjust the lower leg length.
INFORMATION: There are two threaded holes in the foot plate bar. Depending on the desired setting,
the Allen head screw may have to be completely removed and inserted into the second hole.
3) Tighten the Allen head screw to 10 Nm.
Adjusting the leg support height on the Avantgarde Teen 2 VR
1) Loosen the set screws on the locking mechanism (see fig. 21, item 1).
2) Adjust the lower leg length (continuously adjustable). Ensure that the foot plate bar (see fig. 21, item 2) is inser
ted into the swivel segment (see fig. 21, item 3) by at least 40 mm.
INFORMATION: A mark on the foot plate bar indicates the minimum distance the foot plate bar must
be inserted during installation.
3) Tighten the set screws on the locking mechanism to 8 Nm.

Adjusting the height of the leg support for short lower leg lengths
1) Loosen the clamping screws (see fig. 22, item 1).
2) Bring the foot plate to the desired position (see fig. 22, item 2).
3) Tighten the clamping screw to 9 Nm.
