PROCEDURES BEFORE OPERATION
This chapter describes the procedures before operation.
1.
Setting the IP address/station number setting switches
Set the fourth octet of IP address of I/O module.
Set the station number of the I/O module.

Function setting switch setting
Set functions of the I/O module.
To operate the module in CC-Link IE Field Network communication mode, set function setting switch 1 to ON.
In the factory default switch state, the I/O module also operates with the following settings. Change the switch status as
necessary.
• Input response time setting: 1ms
• Output HOLD/CLEAR setting: CLEAR
• CC-Link IE Field Network synchronous communication mode setting function: Synchronous X/Y control mode
• Fast link-up function: Disabled

Connection
Mount the I/O modules on the DIN rail.

Wiring
Wire the power supply, Ethernet cables, and external devices to the I/O modules.

Parameter setting
Set the network parameters.

Programming
Create a program.
To replace the I/O module, follow the procedure described below:
• Power off the I/O module and remove it.
• Prepare a new I/O module and perform the procedure from step 1 to step 4. At this time, the settings of the
IP address/station number setting switches and function setting switch must be the same as the settings for
I/O module before replacement.
• Check that the RUN LED and DATA LINK LED of I/O module are on and the ERR. LED is off before
restarting control operation.
