Power OFF the printer.

Loosen the thumbscrews and pull out the
controller board. Set it down on a flat
surface.
Follow the procedure below to remove a memory SIMM.

Disconnect the GFI power cord.

Carefully pull out the locking clips to
release the SIMM, then rotate it down 45°
and lift it out of the socket.
