LOCALIZER REVERSED INDICATOR LIGHT -
Amber
light, labeled
BC, illum-
inates when BACK CRS button is pushed in (engaged) and

frequency
selected.

indicator needle is reversed on selected
receiver (when turned to
a
localizer frequency). This
light is
located within the
CDI
indicator.

TURN
COORDINATOR -
Senses
roll
and
yaw
for
wings
leveling
and
command

functions.

DIR HOLD PUSHBUTTON

S elects direction hold
mode. Airplane holds direc-
tion
it is flying
at
time

NAV CAPT PUSHBUTTON - Selects NAV capture
mode.

desired course, the
airplane
will turn to a pre-described intercept angle and
capture selected VOR

LOC
course.

PUSHBUTTON
- Used

LOC
operation
only.

P switch
OFF
or ON, and
when navigation receiver
selected
by
NAV
switch is
set to
a
localizer frequency
,
it
r
everses
normal
localizer needle indication (CDI)
and
causes
localizer
reversed
(B
C)
light
to illuminate. With
A/P switch
ON, reverses
localizer
signal
to
autopilot.
9.
ACTUATOR - The
torque motor in
the actuator
causes
th
e ailerons
to
move in the
commanded
direction.
10.
NAV
SWITCH
-
Selects NAV 1 or
NAV 2
navigation receiver.
11.
PULL TURN KNOB
-
When
pulled
out and
centered
in
deten
t
,
a
irplane

ill
fly
wings-level;
when
turned
to
the
right (R)
,

e will execute a right

standard
rate
turn;

(L), the

aircraft trim

weight
distribution.

proper
operation, the

trimmed before the autop

SWITCH -
Turns
