VOR NAVIGATION CIRCUITS VERIFICATION TESTS:

VOR/LOC NAVIGATION:
As a convenience to the pilot, a separate supplement (Avionic Opera-
tion
Guide) is supplied to explain the various procedures for using the
VHF Navigation Set for

VOR and localizer navigation. Refer to the
Avionic Operations Guide for flight procedures.
AREA NAVIGATION OPERATION
NOTE
Proper RNAV operation requires valid VOR and DME
inputs to the RNA V system. In certain areas, the ground
station antenna patterns and transmitter power may be
inadequate to provide valid signals to the RNAV. For this
