SECTION 3
EMERGENCY PROCEDURES
1.
Elevator Trim Disengage Switch -- DISENGAGE.
NOTE
For maximum altitude loss during an electric trim mal-
function , refer to placarding on the instrument panel.
2. Elevator Trim Circuit Breaker -- PULL TO DISABLE system for
the remainder of the flight.
3. Manual Trim -- AS REQUIRED .
SECTION 4
NORMAL PROCEDURES
To operate the electric elevator trim system, proceed as follows:
1.
Master Switch -- ON.
2. Elevator Trim Disengage Switch -- ON.
3. Trim Switch -- ACTUATE as desired.
4. Elevator Trim Position Indicator - - CHECK.
NOTE
To check the operation of the disengage switch, actuate the
elevator trim switch with the disengage switch in the
DISENGAGE position. Observe that the manual trim
wheel and indicator do not rotate when the elevator trim
switch is activated.
SECTION 5
PERFORMANCE
There is no change to the airplane performance when this trim system
is inst alled.
