Precautions

WARNING
Always refer to the primary data source before
making diagnostic or therapeutic decisions.
Connecting peripheral devices is supported
via the device connectivity option. Only
connect peripheral medical devices to a
patient monitor if those devices comply with
the electrical safety requirements found in IEC
60601-1. Refer to "Safe connection with other
electrical equipment" on page 13 of these
instructions for use for information on how to
connect devices safely.

Device compatibility

The Cockpit device connectivity interface allows
data from the Servo-i ventilator with software
version 7 to display parameters, settings and
waveforms on the Cockpit. See the table below for
supported parameters.

WARNING
The following section lists all of the external
devices and related software versions that
Dräger has validated. Dräger cannot make any
claim for the reliability of the data for
subsequent or previous software versions or
for any devices that have not been validated.
In the interest of patient safety and device
performance, do not connect devices to the
monitor which have not been approved by
Dräger. The hospital is responsible for
contacting Dräger to determine the
compatibility and warranty status of any
connection made to another manufacturer's
medical devices.
