Verify that the Power Sensor is still connected to the Power Splitter and
that the Power Sensor Cable is still connected between the Power Sensor
and the sensor connector on the Power Meter.

Verify that the instrument is still set to use an external reference signal
(refer to steps 5 through 10 on page 1-11).

Set the output of the Agilent 83650B Synthesizer to the first frequency
specified for Test 2a in the Performance Test Record on page 1-40
(50 MHz).

Set the power output of the Synthesizer (read on the Power Meter) to a
power value 20 dBm above the value specified for Test 2a in the
Performance Test Record on page 1-40 (0 dBm). (The added 20 dBm
compensates for the 20 dB Attenuator.)

Record the frequency value read on the Counter (±1 count) for Test 2a in
the Performance Test Record on page 1-40.
