Chapter 1 Performance Tests
Test 1: Channel 1 Frequency Sensitivity
Record the frequency value read on the Counter (±1 count) for Test 1b in
the Performance Test Record on page 1-39.
Set the output of the Synthesizer to 125 MHz, and repeat steps 11
through 13.
If both of the frequency values you recorded for Test 1b are correct, mark
Pass in the Performance Test Record for Test 1b. If either of the frequency
readings you recorded are incorrect, mark Fail in the Performance Test
Record.
Disconnect the Agilent 10100C Feedthrough Terminator, the
Agilent 1250-2015 Adapter, and the Agilent 11904A Adapter from the
Counter's CHANNEL 1 connector.
• Do not disconnect the rest of the test setup, as these connections are
also used in the Channel 2 Frequency Sensitivity test.
Do not turn off the instrument. Turning the instrument off and back on
•
resets the reference oscillator (REF OSC) selection to internal (INT).
