Removing the starter motor

1. Remove the starter motor a.
2. Remove the brackets b and c.

Installing the starter motor

1. Install the dowel a and brackets b and
c, and then tighten the starter motor
bracket bolts d and e to the specified
torque.
2. Install the starter motor f, and then
tighten the starter motor bolts g to the
specified torque.

Starter motor bracket bolt (M6) d:
12 N·m (1.2 kgf·m, 8.9 ft·lb)
Starter motor bracket bolt (M8) e:
25 N·m (2.5 kgf·m, 18.4 ft·lb)
Starter motor bolt g:
30 N·m (3.0 kgf·m, 22.1 ft·lb)
