Air pressure sensor output voltage

Pink/Green (P/G)–Black (B)
3.21 V at –20.0 kPa

9. Turn the engine start switch to OFF.
10. Disconnect the special service tools a
and b.
11. Disconnect the engine ECM coupler b.
12. Check the wiring harness for continuity.

Terminal 1–Terminal 70
Terminal 2–Terminal 77
Terminal 3–Terminal 74
13. Connect the engine ECM coupler b.
14. Install the air pressure sensor, and then
connect the air pressure sensor coupler
a.
15. Install the intake silencer.

Checking the engine temperature
sensor
1. Disconnect the engine temperature sen-
sor coupler a.
2. Turn the engine start switch to ON, and
then measure the input voltage at the
engine temperature sensor coupler.
a
Engine temperature sensor input voltage:
Black/Yellow (B/Y)–Black (B)
4.75–5.25 V
3. Turn the engine start switch to OFF.
4. Remove the engine temperature sensor.
5. Place the engine temperature sensor in a
container of water and heat the water
slowly.
6. Measure the engine temperature sensor
resistance.
Engine temperature sensor resistance
(reference data):
4.2–4.9 kΩ at 5 °C (41 °F)
1.9–2.1 kΩ at 25 °C (77 °F)
0.166–0.204 kΩ at 100 °C (212 °F)
7. Disconnect the engine ECM coupler b.
