Get into Firmware Download Mode

To update the firmware on your projector, you must get into firmware download mode first.
1. Hold on Enter button and plug in the power cord.
2. Release the Enter button until all LEDs solid on.
3. Connect projector and computer by USB cable (USB A to mini USB B).

Firmware Upgrade Procedure

To complete the firmware upgrade process, complete the following steps.
1. On the PC, execute DDP442X Firmware Downloader.exe.
2. To choose the firmware, click Browse.
3. Select the firmware file, click Open.
The Projector found will appear.
4. Click Down Load Image.
The firmware will be upgraded automatically. Download Complete will appear
5. To close the firmware upgrade procedure, click OK.
6. To verify the firmware version, unplug the power cord and USB cable, then re-plug the power
cord to power on the projector. Enter Service Mode to check the system firmware version.
Consult your Christie dealer for more information when the firmware upgrade failure continuous.

MCU Firmware upgrade

Keep the projector in standby mode during firmware upgrade.
Firmware Upgrade Procedure
To complete the firmware upgrade process, complete the following steps.
1. Plug in AC power cord (standby mode)
2. Plug in RS232 cable to projector and computer.
3. On the PC, execute NuvoISP.exe.
4. Select COM port, press connect button.
Connected will appear.
