Connecting the machine to the tractor

Risk of injury due to non-observance of relevant safety instructions
If the relevant safety instructions are not observed, persons may be seriously injured or killed.
„ To avoid accidents, the relevant safety instructions must be read and observed,
page 12.

Risk of injury or damage to the machine due to connection lines which have been
incorrectly connected, interchanged or improperly installed
If the connection lines of the machine have been incorrectly connected to the tractor or have
been improperly installed, they may pull off or be damaged. This may result in serious
accidents. If connection lines are interchanged, functions may inadvertently be actuated which
may also result in serious accidents.
„ Correctly connect and secure the hoses and cables.
„ Lay the hoses, cables and ropes so that they do not scrape, come under tension or
become jammed or come into contact with other components (e.g. tractor tyres).
„ Couple and connect the hoses and cables to the designated connections as described in
the operating instructions.
7.1 Connecting the machine to the tractor
NOTICE
The attachment of implements at the front and rear must not cause exceedance of the
permissible total weight, of the permissible axle loads and of the carrying capacities of the
tractor tyres. Even with a fitted rear-mounted device, the front axle of the tractor must always
be loaded with a minimum 20% tare weight of the tractor.
„ Make sure before starting to move that these requirements have been met.
Risk of accident by connecting the machine to U-frame coupler
If the machine is not directly connected to three-point hitch of tractor but to U-frame
coupler, the machine may tear from the tractor. This may result in serious accidents.
„ Only connect the machine to the three-point hitch of the tractor.
„ Never mount the machine on U-frame coupler.
