Swiss potato gratin

Serves 4–6
Ingredients
Butter
1000 g firm potatoes
400 ml cream
Salt
Pepper
Nutmeg
50 g cheese, grated
Method
Peel the potatoes and slice thinly. Place
in a greased porcelain oven dish (3 litre
capacity).
Season the cream and mix into the
sliced potatoes. Scatter grated cheese
over the top and bake in a pre-heated
oven until golden.
