66 Appendix B: Technical reference
• With the Intel Celeron J1900 processor:
- Level 1 cache: one 32-Kbyte, 8-way instruction cache and 24 KByte 6-way data
cache.
- Level 2 cache: 2 Mbytes (1 Mbyte of which is shared per two cores).
RAM (Factory installed, non-removable not-accessible)
• Two 204-pin SO-DIMM slots, each of which supports one non-removable,
unbuffered DDR3 SDRAM SO-DIMM module, up to 8 Gbytes in size. With
Matrox 4Sight GPm (Ivy Bridge), the total memory is either 4, 8, or 16 Gbytes
depending on what was ordered. With Matrox 4Sight GPm (Bay Trail), the total
memory is 4 Gbytes.
❖ Note that the memory modules on Matrox 4Sight GPm (Bridgeable) and
Matrox 4Sight GPm (Bay Trail) are powered at different rates. The Ivy Bridge
Intel processor installed in your Matrox 4Sight GPm (Ivy Bridge) only supports
1.5 V I/O signaling. The Bay Trail Intel Celeron processor installed in your
Matrox 4Sight GPm (Bay Trail) is powered at 1.35 V.

Mass storage

• A 60-Gbyte mSATA MLC solid state drive on the Matrox 4Sight GPm (Ivy
Bridge) unit or a 30-Gbyte mSATA MLC SSD on the Matrox 4Sight GPm (Bay
Trail) unit.
• 2.5 inch platter to install an additional 7-pin SATA mass storage device (such as
an SDD or hard disk drive).
❖ Note that the Matrox 4Sight GPm unit does not come with a hard disk drive
installed by default; it only comes with a solid state drive.
