USB Configuration submenu

The USB Configuration submenu allows you to configure settings for the USB
ports of the Matrox 4Sight GPm (Bay Trail) unit.
Meaning
This item specifies that the BIOS is able to support a USB device regardless which boot mood is used (such
as, normal, or UEFI).
This item cannot be changed.
This item allows you to enable or disable the driver for the USB xHCI controller. xHCI is the controller for the
USB 3.0 ports on your Matrox 4Sight GPm (Bay Trail).
This item allows you to configure the extensible host controller interface (xHCI). This item affects all USB 3.0
ports. There is 1 USB 3.0 port.
By selecting Disabled, the USB ports will always use EHCI.
By selecting Enabled, the USB ports will always use xHCI.
This item is only visible when XHCI Pre-Boot Driver is set to Enabled.
This item allows USB devices to be detected even if XHCI is uninstalled. Note that a Windows Hardware
Certification test (WHCK) will fail if XHCI is uninstalled.
By selecting Disabled, the USB ports cannot use ECHI if XHCI if it is uninstalled.
By selecting Enabled, the USB ports can continue to use ECHI even if XHCI is uninstalled.
This item is only visible when XHCI Pre-Boot Driver is set to Enabled.
This item specifies that xHCI is enabled.
By selecting Enabled, the USB ports will always use xHCI.
By selecting Disabled, the USB ports will always use EHCI.
This item can only be changed when XHCI Pre-Boot Driver is set to Disabled.
This item allows you to enable or disable the ability of your USB ports to enter a low power state (L2 state).
By selecting Enabled, the USB ports can enter a low power state when not in use.
By selecting Disabled, the USB ports cannot enter a low power state when not in use.
This item allows you to enable or disable xHCI streams.
By selecting Disabled, high speed data transfer will be disabled on the USB 3.0 ports.
By selecting Enabled, high speed data transfer will be enabled on the USB 3.0 ports.
This item reports whether the USB on-board controller (ECHI) is enabled or not.
By selecting Enabled, the USB ports can continue to use ECHI even if XHCI is uninstalled.
By selecting Disabled, the USB ports cannot use ECHI.
This item can only be changed when XHCI Controller is set to Disabled.
