SATA connector for mass storage devices

The SATA connector is a 7-pin male connector. It is used to connect a mass storage
device. The pinout for the SATA connector is available at the website of the Serial
ATA International Organization, http://www.sata-io.org.
The mass storage device should be mounted to the chassis cover. For more
information, refer to the Connecting a mass storage device section, in Chapter 3:
Adding devices to Matrox 4Sight GPm.

SATA power for mass storage device

The SATA power connector is a 4-pin connector. It is used to power a mass storage
device. The pinout for the SATA power connector is available at the website of
the Serial ATA International Organization, http://www.sata-io.org.
❖ Matrox 4Sight GPm only supplies 5 V of power to its SATA power connector.
Therefore, storage devices requiring a 12 V supply are not supported.
The mass storage device should be mounted to the chassis cover. For more
information, refer to the Connecting a mass storage device section, in Chapter 3:
Adding devices to Matrox 4Sight GPm.

Recovery connector

The recovery connector is a grouping of 2-pin standard, 2.54 mm, male
connectors. It can force a hardware-reset of the CMOS, BIOS, and real-time clock.
❖ Note that the recovery connector should not be used unless you are directed to
do so from Matrox Technical support.
