MIL applications are easily ported to new Matrox hardware platforms and can be
designed to take advantage of multi-processing and multi-threading
environments.
MIL-Lite is a subset of MIL. It includes all the MIL functions for image
acquisition, transfer, display control, and archiving. It also allows you to perform
processing operations that are typically useful to pre-process grabbed images.
Matrox Capture Assistant is a tool that allows you to rapidly test and evaluate the
performance of virtually any GenICam-compliant device using MIL. GigE Vision
and USB3 Vision devices are currently supported. It can also be used to configure
Host controller settings (such as network adapters) and Matrox-specific
configuration. The tool has three main sections, each occupying a specific page
or tab.
