• When operating the product in the immediate vicinity of active, implantable systems
(e.g. pacemakers, defibrillators, etc.), ensure that the minimum distances stipulated
by the manufacturer of the implant are observed. Interference with active, implant-
able systems may occur due to the electromagnetic radiation emitted by the product.
Furthermore, make sure to observe any operating conditions and safety instructions
stipulated by the manufacturer of the implant.
• The 13E205 MyoRotronic must not be combined with the 12K100 DynamicArm, since
this can destroy the MyoRotronic.
• Do not allow debris or liquids to get into the MyoRotronic.
• The MyoRotronic should not be subjected to intense smoke, dust, mechanical vibra-
tions, shocks or high temperatures.
• Wearing the MyoRotronic close to high-tension power lines, transmitters, transformers
or other sources of strong electromagnetic radiation (such as security systems for
goods in department stores) may cause the MyoRotronic or the connected components
to malfunction. Setting the electrode gains as low as possible will minimize this risk.
• Before interrupting or establishing electrical connections (such as when removing the
MyoRotronic from the Electric Wrist Rotator), the system must be disconnected from the
power supply. For this purpose, either remove the battery from the battery receptacle or
turn the prosthesis off by pressing the button in the charging receptacle.
• In case of malfunction, which could endanger the patient's safety, the system should
be turned off by removing the battery.
• If malfunctions persist, contact an Ottobock Service facility.
• Modifying component parts and software without the written consent of the manufac-
turer is strictly prohibited.
• Educate your patient in the appropriate use of the MyoRotronic.
• The 13E205 MyoRotronic cannot be combined with the 12K100N DynamicArm. The
13E205 MyoRotronic would be destroyed when operating the DynamicArm.
• If the distance to HF communication devices (e.g. mobile phones, Bluetooth devices,
WiFi devices) is too small, interference with internal data communications can result in
malfunctions of the electric wrist rotator. Maintaining the following minimum distances
to these HF communication devices is recommended:
• Mobile phone GSM 850/GSM 900: 0.99 m
• Mobile phone GSM 1800/GSM 1900/UMTS: 0.7 m
• DECT cordless phones incl. base station: 0.35 m
• WiFi (routers, access points,...): 0.22 m
• Bluetooth devices (third-party products not approved by Ottobock): 0.22 m
This product may not be disposed of with regular domestic waste. Disposal that is not
in accordance with the regulations of your country may have a detrimental impact on
