Simultaneous contraction of both muscles – short and quick.
TIP
e. g. balling a ficticious fist or spreading ficticious fingers. Avoid cramps!
Safety Cocontraction (Prog. 3)
Normal Cocontraction and subsequent brief contraction of one of the two muscles within
2 seconds (after the end of Cocontraction).
TIP
Both muscles must be relaxed completely between Cocontraction and the following
single contraction to ensure that the switching signal is recognized.
