- Page 2 Um einen Patienten mit einer Hosmer Oberarmprothese probeweise mit einem Ellbogen Paßteil zu versorgen ist es notwendig, den Adaptereinsatz 13Z68 als Kopplungsstück anzubringen. Der Adap- tereinsatz gewährleistet eine einfache und stabile Verbindung zwischen den beiden oben genannten Systemen. Montage 1. Ablegen der Prothese 2. Entfernen des Hosmer Unterarmpaßteiles 3. L agerichtiges Einstecken des Adaptereinsatzes 13Z68: die halbmondförmige Ausfräsung muß in Handrichtung zeigen (siehe Abb. 1). 4. Fixierung der Einbaulage durch Sicherungsscheibe und Festziehen der Mutter. 5. Einschrauben des Ellbogen Paßteil laut Ellbogen Montageanleitung. Gewährleistung Eine Gewährleistung kann nur übernommen werden, wenn das Produkt unter den vorgegebenen Be- dingungen und zu den vorgesehenen Zwecken verwendet wird. Ottobock übernimmt die Gewährleis- tung für das Produkt nur, wenn es in von Ottobock geprüften Bauteil-Kombinationen verwendet wird. - Page 3 Application The 13Z68 Adapter Insert is intended exclusively as a connection piece between an Above-Elbow So- cket with a Hosmer Lamination Ring and an ErgoArm Elbow. Description and Function For initial fittings of an Above-Elbow Socket with a Hosmer Lamination Ring to an Elbow Component, use the 13Z68 Adapter Insert as a coupling. The Adapter Insert provides an easy and stable connec- tion between the two prosthetic systems. Assembly 1. Take off the prosthesis. 2. Remove the Hosmer Elbow and Forearm. 3. To correctly align the 13Z68 Adapter Insert, make sure the halfmoon shaped channel points in the direction of the hand (See Fig. 3) 4. Secure the assembly with the lock washer and nut. 5. Attach the ErgoArm Elbow as described in the component’s Operating Manual. Otto Bock Warranty The Ottobock Warranty applies only if the product is used under specified conditions and intended purposes. The Ottobock warranty applies only to tested component combinations!
