Editing function

The same editing functions as those from the Explorer are available with the Link
Manager function, except the merging function (as this is used with txt files):
Refer to 2000/4000 V2 Platform or SmartOTDR User Manual if you want to work on
directories and files (copy/paste, rename...).
Moreover, the Edit menu from the Link Manager page allows to export the whole direc-
tory, with the files corresponding to the active tab, in a txt file.

Exporting a directory in a txt file

Click on Export and select the Link Manager function

Select the tab corresponding to the files you want to use

Select the directory to open

Select one file from the list

Click on
The txt file is automatically generated, in the same directory as the one selected
for the export.
The name by default for the txt file is: fiber_info_"name of application
selected".txt.
For example, for the export of the Fiber Information from the OTDR application,
the txt file will be called: fiber_info_otdr.txt
NOTE
The txt file can be renamed once it is saved.
