Basic Menu Screen Operations

Clicking on an item
Switching active windows
Menu selections are made by "clicking" on the required item.
Use either of the following procedures to click on a particular
item.
Using the SEL/FINE button
Use the following procedure.

In the transformation operation section of the control panel,
press the CURSR button, turning it on.
This allocates the trackball and Z-ring to cursor movement.

Move the trackball to position the cursor over the required
item.

Press the SEL/FINE button.
Using the mouse
If you have a mouse connected to the SPARE connector on the
rear of the control panel, you can use the mouse to position the
cursor, and click with the left mouse button.
The menu screen has two windows, arranged one above the other;
the active window, that is the one which accepts button input, is
indicated by a blue title bar.
Use either of the following methods to switch the active window.
• Click on any point inside the non-active window.
• Press the SWTCH WINDW button on the control panel.
