Chapter 8 Effect Utilities
For each of snapshot registers 1 to 99 the name "SNAPSHOT" is
assigned by default.
You can assign any name of up to eight alphanumeric characters to
a specified register.
• When a snapshot is copied, the destination register takes the same
name as the source register.
• Saving in a snapshot register leaves the name unchanged.
• Deleting the contents of a register leaving it empty returns the
name to the default "SNAPSHOT".
In the second set of soft key indications in the EFFECT UTILITY
menu, press F2 (SNAPSHOT NAME) to display the SNAPSHOT
NAME menu.

SNAPSHOT NAME menu soft key indications
The operations in this menu are the same as the corresponding
operations in the REGISTER NAME menu for naming keyframe
effect registers.
For details, see the section "Changing Register Names – 73"
(page 8-10).
