Chapter 10 Setup Operations
There are two options for the effect of the buttons in the top menu
selection section of the menu operation section, selected by
pressing F3 (TOP MENU BUTTON) as follows.
Top menu: Display the top menu in the respective menu group.
Last menu: Display the last menu accessed in the respective
menu group.
To control the internal DME from an editor connected to the
EDITOR connector on the rear panel of the processor, press F4
(EDITOR IF) to select "DME protocol" or "VTR protocol".
DME protocol: for control from a BVE-9100
VTR protocol: for control from a BVE-2000
Set the device constants for the intelligent device controller
connected to the editor according to the protocol used, as shown in
the following table.

To activate the internal DME by means of trigger signals input
from external equipment connected to the DME GPI connector on
the rear panel of the processor, press F5 (GPI IF) to select
"Enable".
