TRAIL Settings – 23
Leaving an afterimage trail – F1 (TRAIL)
Deleting the afterimage remaining in memory at each keyframe
– F4 (RESUME RECUR)
This strobes the input video at regular intervals, leaving an
afterimage trail.
In the FREEZE & RECUR menu, press F3 (TRAIL) to display the
TRAIL menu.

The following are some of the operations carried out in this menu.
Use the following procedure.

Press F1 (TRAIL), turning it on.

Adjust the "Decay" parameters as follows.
• Left knob ("Decy"): degree of blurring of video signal (0 to
100%)
• Right knob ("Dust"): degree of leaving stardust trails of
afterimage (0 to 100%)

Adjust the "Duration" parameters as follows.
• Left knob ("Dur"): interval between freeze frames (0 to 255
frames)
• Center knob ("Live"): proportion of the interval between two
successive freeze frames for which the video is run (0 to
100%)
Press F4 (RESUME RECUR), turning it on.
Each time the effect passes a keyframe, the recursive memory is
cleared, before writing the new afterimage.
