2. Before the RTV sealant dries (tack free), install
a new oil pan gasket on the crankcase mounting
surface. Make sure that the dowel on the gasket is
aligned with the hole on the crankcase mounting
surface.

3. Install the oil pan onto the crankcase.

4. Install 18 oil pan mounting bolts (M8 x 24).
Tighten all bolts to the special torque value (Table
23).

An optional 300 Watt Oil Pan Heater is available for

Kit, page495 ) for installation procedure.
