• n = 1: Transmit printer status
• n = 2: Transmit off-line status
• n = 3: Transmit error status
• n = 4: Transmit paper sensor status
[Notes] • When the printer receives the command, it returns relative status immediately.
• Even if the printer is set to be disabled by command ESC = (select peripheral device),
this command is still enabled.
• The printer transmits the current status. Each status is represented by one-byte data.
• The printer transmits the status without confirming whether the host computer can
receive data or not.
• The printer executes this command immediately upon receiving it.
• This command is effective to printers with serial interface, nibble parallel interface or
USB interface.
• Printer will execute this command immediately in any status.
