1. Remove electrical power supplied to
the fryer.
2. Remove the control panel. See
Lower the Control , page
3. Disconnect the white box connector.
4. Remove the two screws securing
transformer to the unit and remove
transformer.
5. Replace with new transformer in
reverse order.

The temperature probe relays the actual shortening temperature to the control. If it
becomes disabled, "E-6" shows in the display. Also, if the temperature is out of
calibration more than 10° F, or 10° C, the temperature probe should be replaced. An
Ohm check can be performed also, see
