NOTES:
•
<SME211_IP> is the IP address of the SME 211.
•
<DESTINATION_IP>:<DESTINATION_PORT> are the IP address and port
number of the destination.
•
<stream name> is user-definable via the SME 211 web interface.
•
Some dependencies may apply with certain versions of VLC. For ES/RTP push
streams, SAP is available in "Video Only" stream mode.
•
For UDP and RTP protocols, Extron enforces the IETF recommendations for port
number assignment by starting with an even port.
Playing SAP Streams with VLC
To play a SAP stream with VLC media player:
1.
Select the Network streams (SAP) option under Local Network
2.
Expand the folder to see the available streams.
