5.18 Configuring Safety Integrated functions
Safety Integrated functions with PROFIsafe (PROFIBUS example)
Safety Integrated functions are activated via "PROFIsafe on PROFIBUS" safe communication.
Control (F logic) is based on a SIMATIC F CPU connected via PROFIBUS with PROFIsafe.
Examples are a SIMATIC S7-300 CPU 317F-2 DP (not shown in figure) or a ET 200S IM151-7
F-CPU with the PROFIBUS DP master interface module (see figure)
