ReMOve TRunniOn aSSeMBly - MFR30

Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all parts and panels before
operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.
1.
Open washer door, install basket stabilizer
tool, #518919, into the drum opening, this
tool keeps the basket centered and in
position while bearing housing is removed.

Remove the back panel (See page 4-28).
3.
Remove the belt (See page 4-30).
4.
Remove the basket pulley (See page 6-47).
5.
To remove the trunnion, remove six 13mm
nuts and washers from the bolts that secure
the trunnion to the tub. Two of the nuts are
positioned under the trunnion.
nOTe: Do not push threaded bolts towards
tub, because they are sealed from behind
and pushing them could cause a leak.
6.
Remove four M16 bolts that secure the
trunnion to the frame. The 24mm nuts with
spacers are under the frame. The bolt has
a washer on the top of the trunnion.
