Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all parts and panels before
operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.
1. To Determine if a door leak is caused by
improper door pressure, verify the distance
between the door lock and hinge as
indicated below. This distance must be at
least 18" (457mm).
2. If this distance is 18" or greater, proceed to
Checking Door Adjustment
(See page 8-26).
3. If this distance is less than 18", remove the
door (See page 4-13).
4. Remove the front panel (See page 4-19).
5. Mark a line at the right side of the hinge to
use as a guide to keep the hinge parallel
during adjustment.
6. Loosen the four bolts of the hinge just
enough so it can be tapped to the right until
the 18" measurement is achieved.
7. Retighten the hinge bolts. Torque bolts to
4.8 ft lbs. (6.5 Newton meters).
