There is a rear ring, a back plate which is
black, and four shims that may or may not
come out. Shims have notches where the
bolts come through. It is not necessary to
remove the shims unless they are falling off.

Leave one bolt loose in the top of the tub
so the heavy plate does not fall off while
removing other parts, while getting ready to
remove the basket from the tub.

Remove the bolt that secures the basket
pulley to the drum.
10.
Insert the pulling eye in the center hole
and tighten it.

Using a lift if possible, connect the lift to
the pulling eye.
use two people to move or install
heavy parts.
Failure to do so can result in back or

other injury.
12.
Using two people, pull on each side of the
rear of the basket to pull it out the back of
the tub.
TeCH Tip: If there is no access to a lift in
the field, stack some wooden pallets to a
height that allows the basket to slide straight
out onto them.
