Turn key in left lid lock to enter program mode.
The select cycle screen changes to the main
menu screen.
Main menu selections are initialization,
program, service, and configuration. Use
arrow keys on key pad to navigate. Choose
"configuration" then press enter key. A
password is required to continue. This
password is 3,2,1. The flashing arrow at the
left of display screen indicates "enter" must
be pressed to continue. In the configuration
menu, Item 1 is "Machine Type". Refer to the
manual for the type machine being worked
on. Use arrow keys to select correct machine
type, this washer is an MFR80 or R35. Press
enter for this choice to be accepted.
If control board or processor chip is changed,
or to fully reconfigure the washer, always
choose Item 2, 'Reset Defaults'. Confirm
choice by using arrow key to select "yes" or
"no" or use the "thumbs up" or "thumbs down"
buttons. If a new board has been installed
it will be necessary to go through the entire
programming. If only the chip is replaced, the
washer programs will be in there.
Item 3 is "Brightness Display" which is best
between 9 and 13.
Item 4 is "Frequency Control". Set to yes.
Item 5 is "Supply Voltage", which needs to
be set to proper supply voltage setting for
washer. To find proper supply voltage look
on the Model Serial tag on the rear panel,
choose the correct setting, then press enter.

Item 6 is "Load Inverter Parameters". Press
enter, then confirm and enter. The parameters
will be sent to the inverter drive. Parameters
are the limits and proper programming of
the inverter itself, to match what the display
reads, for the control board programming. If
the parameters could not load, an error will be
displayed. If the inverter parameters are not
loaded, the washer will not run.
Item 9 is "liquid soap supply". Set to 'Yes' if
external soap supply signals are needed at the
back of the washer.
If a new control board is installed, or to bring
the washer back to the factory settings, select
item 14 "Erase All Wash Programs" and
confirm "yes" to clear the memory.
Item 15 is "Load Standard Programs". Press
"enter". Set the language. Select to load
programs 1-15 or the USA standard, which are
programs 15 to 52. Toggle to "yes" and press
enter. Select exit, and press enter to return to
the configuration menu.
Item 17 is "Exit" the configuration menu and
return to the "Main Menu".
If the defaults were reset it will be necessary
to go into the "Initialization" menu and change
Item 6 "Wait For Temperature" to "No" and
in the "Configuration" menu set Item 11
"Temperature" from "Celsius" to "Fahrenheit".
Fahrenheit is used on virtually any OPL
washer located in the USA.
