akO & MOTOR TeST
1.
Unplug washer or disconnect power.
2.
Connect a power test cord to L1 & Neutral
(N) contacts of the motor control board.
3.
Remove JP- 4 interface control wire
harness.

Plug in washer or reconnect power test
cord to 120 VAC power source. The motor
control will immediately execute a motor
test routine and the motor should run,
rotating the spinner at 50 rpm.
5.
If the motor runs, and the spinner rotates
at the proper rpm speed, any problem lies
outside the motor and inverter circuit.
6.
Unplug washer or disconnect power.
7.
Disconnect power test cord and reconnect
JP- 4 interface connector to the inverter.

If motor did not run:
Check the 10 amp fuse located on the
control board, either visually or with an
ohmmeter. If fuse is bad, replace complete
motor control wire harness assembly.
If the fuse is OK, check the six
semiconductors on the inverter visually for
any damage. If damaged, replace complete
motor control and wire harness assembly.
nOTe: Check motor windings for damage,
replace motor if necessary.
If fuse and semiconductors show no
physical damage, do Motor Phase Test
(See page 7-10).
